Securing Knowledge – Creating Success
Almost every fourth employee in Germany is currently older than 55 years. During the next ten years more than 7 million people will go into retirement. Already today there is a lack of skilled employees.

In this situation it is most important for enterprises and organizations to secure the transfer of knowledge in order to guarantee economic success.
To achieve this. future retirees pass their knowledge in the sense of generativity. And their successors are supported in their striving for learning and their future career. For the enterprise or organization this secures the transfer of valuable knowledge and, thus, economic success. The result is a win-win-win-situation.

Transfer of knowledge does not always go smoothly

There may, however, be conflicts between the future retirees and their successors. To solve those, it can help to invite the employees to a mutual conversation to clarify the current situation as well as to create respect and understanding for each other. This may lead to the decision for a tandem coaching where both participants can find solutions to make the transition more effective.
